Leadership Keynote – Montgomery County PMI Chapter Symposium
Presentation Title: Lessons from Legends
Description: What do you and a Civil War General nicknamed “Old Bald Head” have in common? Perhaps more than you think. As leaders we sometimes believe today’s challenges are unique, our society is more complex, and our generation is different from all those that have gone before us. If you are one of those, consider this quotation:
“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise.”
Does this accurately describe Millennials? Generation X? Baby Boomers? Perhaps, but Socrates, according to Plato, said this in the 4th Century B.C.
Times may change, but people don’t. By expanding our vision, we can learn from people in circumstances or times that may be very different from our own. In this presentation Ron provides lessons you can learn from people who are, or are becoming, legends. As usual, the stories are true and the lessons profound.
